Privacy Policy for Clean Keeper

Last Updated: July 1, 2026
Effective Date: July 1, 2026

Quick Summary: Clean Keeper is a file and storage cleaning app. It scans files on your device's storage (based on file paths) to identify junk files, large files, duplicate images, and empty folders. The app reads device status data (memory, storage, battery level) for local display only. The app provides a persistent status bar notification and an optional home screen widget displaying real-time memory and storage usage. We use Firebase Crashlytics for crash reports and Firebase Analytics for app performance data. We may send occasional cleanup reminder notifications via Firebase Cloud Messaging (you can turn these off in notification settings). We display advertisements via Google AdMob. In regions where GDPR applies (e.g., European Economic Area), we use Google UMP (User Messaging Platform) to obtain your consent before showing personalized ads. Your Android Advertising ID may be collected after consent for ad attribution purposes.
